Whatever happens as we get older, we all want to remain independent and live life on our own terms. Independent Age provides older people and their families with regular, friendly contact, as well as clear, free and impartial advice on the issues that matter: care and support, money and benefits, health and mobility.

Unlike other charities working with older people, we do not receive funds from the government or local authorities. This means that we rely entirely on the support of the general public to fund our services, and enable us to be a strong voice for older people and their families.
